First Week News

Here are a few things you need to know from the first week:

• Our school day begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 3:00 p.m. Students will need to be picked up by 3:15 p.m. 
• Our recess will be dependent upon the weather. If the heat index is 95 degrees or higher, we will remain inside for indoor recess. Your child is allowed to bring a water bottle for class as well as a hat for recess. 
• The annual supply fee for students is $25.00. This covers items purchased for the students including planners, communication folders, and testing materials. Please make checks out to CSPN. 
• Our class Parent Night has been rescheduled for August 11th at 6:00 p.m. During this meeting, I will present the ins and outs of our Third Grade class. I would like for everyone to attend, if possible.
• Daily Homefun will begin this week, August 3rd. Your child is required to copy the Homefun in their Planner, and the Homefun will also be available on the blog. The Homefun will be sent home nightly, and it is returned the following morning. Let me know if there are any questions.
