A Letter to the Littles

Dear Clever Kids, For the next two weeks you will take the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP/TN Ready) exams for Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. I know how hard you have been working, but there is something important that I want you to know… The TCAP/TN Ready tests do not assess  all   of what makes each of you unique, special, and  SMART . The people who create these tests do not know each of you the way that I do, and certainly not the way your families do.  They do not know that some of you sing or draw. They have not seen your natural acting ability. They do not know your friends count on you to be there for them (and you are), that your laughter and jokes can brighten people’s day, and that you set examples for the younger children. They do not know you participate in sports, wonder about your future, or sometimes help your siblings after school. Testing Schedule Update

April 8, 2018 Parents, Below you will find a tentative copy of the 3 rd  grade testing schedule for 2018.  This is the most current schedule, but please be aware that it is subject to change. To ensure optimal student performance on these assessments, please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep each night and a nutritious breakfast every morning.
